That way you can send out your quest teams with max items. I'd recommend building an extra Hospital and Science Center so that you can have 60+ Stimpaks and Radaways on hand at any given time. Once you have 3 teams out at once, and you're controlling time within settings, the achievement goes much faster. You'll start receiving legendary items from quests once you reach the higher level ones. If you have no legendary weapons, the plasma rifles are probably your best bet. Not only does it do massive damage to a single target, it also does splash damage to all other targets in the room. One weapon that really cleans house is the mini-nuke launcher. (Thanks Simm)Īlways make sure your questing teams have the best weapons. Dogmeat is x3 objective completion, so if you take him on a mission, it will count as 3 completed. There are also a few pets (including legendary Dogmeat) that give you an objective multiplier. I have a cat that decreases return time by 4x. This is where moving your clock forward really cuts down on time.Īnother "trick" to cut down on time is to equip any animals to your questing dwellers that decrease travel time. You'll also notice that the time it takes to reach each location increases with each successive part. Other quests require certain weapons or outfits. With that difficulty increase, the loot will also get better. You'll start receiving multi-part quests which get increasingly difficult. Charisma may help with speech checks that pop up on certain missions, but I cannot confirm that.Īs your vault gets bigger and gains more dwellers, the quests will start getting harder. Higher endurance = less stimpaks needing to be used. If you notice your dweller getting hit 2 or 3 times before firing back it's because their agility is low. Agility determines how often your character will shoot. Certain special stats will really help you out on quests. (My A team are all level 50 with maxed out special stats.) You can again abuse the system clock to speed up their training times. Your job with them will be to send them out in the wasteland to level up and get their special stats as high as possible in the training rooms. While doing that, pick out 9 dwellers who you'd like to be your A, B, and C teams. The quests you get at the start of the game should be quite easy. Faster you get 3 questing teams out, faster you get this finished. Obviously first you're going to need an overseer's office. Anyway, there's no one solution because every quest is a tad different, but here are some tips to make your questing quicker and smoother: However, when moving time back without quitting, the game's audio will cut out. You do NOT need to reload if you're moving time forward. (Settings > System > Time) Once you reach the +14 time zone, quit the game, turn it back to -12 and reload the game. Other than that, though, I think that is correct. This is going to take some time, but can be shortened immensely by changing your system clock. It may also have changed since then, since I'm not familiar with Nuka Cola Quantum in this game. I think the resources do drain, just a very small amount over time, at least from what I have observed from personal experience. Though it might just be chance, whenever I go back in after a long time of not playing, there seems to be a situation of some sort happening almost immediately. Though, I had in mind that it wouldn't be fully paused, since your wastelanders would still be out there, etc. Was posting based off of memory of personal experience. The production rooms will continue their job until they finish one round (waiting for you to click on the water/food/power) and then stop. Shortly after closing the app, the resources will stop draining. People in the training rooms will still train, pregnancies will still advance, children will grow up. I think it's still accurate:Īnyone wandering the wasteland will continue to do so (fighting, finding stuff, gaining XP). The closest thing one could get to pausing, is to exit the game completely. Each minute passed IRL, is another minute that will be calculated the next time you open up the game. Originally posted by L7vanmatre:There is no pausing everything happens over time.
